A man was on Monday charged with disclosing Personal data to a third party.

Appearing before Milimani Magistrate R.M. Ndombi, Hatim Mohamed Tahir pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The court was informed that the alleged offense took place on September 19, 2023, at Gigiri courtyard in Westlands sub-county, Nairobi County, in collaboration with another individual not currently before the court.

According to the charges, Tahir disclosed personal information to Lynn Nganga, an advocate handling a civil case, without proper authorization. The data reportedly pertained to Rose Friedman and a minor.

The accused who was out on a police cash bail was granted a cash bail of sh100,000 or a bond of sh 300,000

The case is scheduled for mention on July 8, two weeks from now.
